Food quite watery, very little chicken and naan bread much smaller than usual. All contrary to previous good experiences with restaurant.

We ordered the delivery and selected a delivery time of 19.30, the food turned up just after 6pm which was an issue as I was putting kids to bed alone so was cold time I sat down to it. I had also ordered chicken tikka for my curry and it was plain chicken which was disappointing. The other curry my partner had was lovely. Wouldn’t order again as order not cheap and didn’t get what we asked for or at correct time.

Delicious food and good portions

I have now ordered take away a number of times out of the Dehli Darbar. In the last 2 or 3 times I have been left disappointed by the food. I have noticed the Korma sauce has gotten thinner. Definitely not as thick and more runny/ watery. I ordered chips. They were dry and hard. My nan bread texture was as if it had been lying for a while. Poppadoms were soggy and not crunchy. Not the standard of the Dehli Darbar that I'd expect.

Quality food at a very reasonable price

Even gave us two Lorna’s which is the kids favourite. Fast service.

Placed a £30 order and was very disappointed. The chicken korma was terrible the chicken was rubbery and pinkish in middle . We also ordered a South Indian garlic chicken curry the chicken was the same rubbery ! The chips were as if they had been lying for hours rock solid ! Was not worth the money .

Food was cold

It took over 90 minutes for the food to arrive. That is half an hour longer than the estimated delivery time, the food arrived luke-warm at best, and soaked through dripping of oil !! We ordered vegetarian food but got delivered 2 meat curryies!!! There was a mix of chicken and some other darker coloured meat in the dish - for all I know there could have been a dog cooked in that curry, it was absolutely disgusting… the whole meal was soaking and dripping of oil .. most of the food went in the bin and I ended up cleaning my kitchen and diner for over and hour, to get rid of the oil stains … this was meant to be a Mother’s Day treat but turned out to be a punishment. Never 👎🏻ever ever again !

Food was lukewarm.

Food was cold when it arrived. Also, not nearly as much chicken as usual in our meal. Mango chutney was different, too. Maybe change of chef? Have ordered from here many times, abd this is the only time I’ve had cause to post negative comments.

Wasnt as good as normal. Mixed pakora was very small pieces an amont Was also.cold and not crispy Chicken tika tased too lemony

When i arrived to collect order had to wait quite abit longer than planned

Old chiken chat with very bad odour. But once i rang to the restaurant they promptly sent another .

Ordered early at 14:55 for 16:10 or sooner delivery. 2 hours later it arrived cold at 16.58. Disappointed the food was tasty but cold. I had to reheat.

A very strange after taste with the sauce, chicken cooked lovely the sauce as explained left half of it and put in the bin. Pakora was not fresh and had loads of burnt crumbs at the bottom of the bag, very disappointed.

Plus side takeaway was ready early. Negatives wasn't particularly warm and the veg pakora there was an awful lot of crumbs

Food took about 90 minutes but it's Christmas eve so maybe very bizy food was great and am glad they deliver in my area now as they don't use to. But definitely be ordering again.
